Protocol Systems, Inc. Announces Release of ProVue Version 2.1, their powerful and flexible Contact Management Software.


There is exciting news at Protocol Systems, Inc. In January, the Protocol Systems company name and the rights to the ProVueTM Contact Management Software were purchased by the owners of Noetic Software, Inc. of Willow Grove, PA. For the foreseeable future, both Protocol Systems and Noetic Software will remain two companies under one roof with the opportunity to easily share resources and manpower.

Noetic Software is a software engineering company established in 1993 and currently has more than 25 engineers and programmers supporting programming efforts for the U.S.Navy, Motorola, Lockheed-Martin, Litton Industries and local financial companies. Noetic has the necessary manpower and the commitment to support the current and future needs of the Protocol Systems Contact Management Software product ProVue.

The personnel of both companies are very enthusiastic about the opportunity presented by this new product. We see a strong future for the ProVue product and we are working to improve the capabilities of the product and to expand the user base. We have not been idle at Protocol Systems since the company name and the ProVue product were purchased by the partners of Noetic Software.

We are very excited to announce the release of Version 2.1 of our ProVue Contact Management Software. The new version solves all outstanding issues regarding customer reported problems and adds significant new features to the software. The staff pursued a rigorous quality assurance testing period and has resolved all issues that were encountered during the testing. In addition, a completely revised and updated User's Manual has been prepared and is ready for delivery with this new version of the software.

The Standard and Professional editions that were available in previous versions were discontinued to allow Protocol Systems to focus resources on the greater capability of the Enterprise Edition for this version. The following list describes just a few of the more noteworthy improvements and enhancements that have been made to the ProVue Contact Management Software.

  • All Date Entries are streamlined using a new perpetual calendar popup.
  • Correspondence and Complaint tracking sheet capabilities are improved with multiple printing and save features.
  • The Custom Report Wizard can save the report structure so a custom report can be defined once and used indefinitely.
  • Context sensitive help has been improved and is available in all areas of ProVue.
  • The entire application is updated to look and operate like other modern WindowsTM applications.
  • The program is Microsoft Windows 2000, Office 2000 and WordPerfect Office 2000 compatible.
  • A new E-mail Import feature automates data entry for E-mail correspondences received from a comments form on your own web site.
I want to emphasize that this is a new improved and enhanced version of the ProVue Software that is ready and available today. Our extensive testing has produced a significantly better product. Please let me know if I can answer any questions for you.
