The Correspondence View helps you organize and maintain the inbound correspondence that your office receives.  Although you are able to access Correspondence data for individual contacts from the Contact Management view, the Correspondence view gives you a more direct access to this information and allows you to easily move from items received from one individual to those received from another.

When working with each Correspondence item, you can record Referral information that indicates the person or department assigned to handle the item.  In response to queries, concerns or issues raised in the Correspondence, you can generate an appropriate outgoing response.  Correspondence items may be grouped based on an issue and a targeted mailing sent to these persons with information dealing with their concerns.
